Graduation day moves a lot of people to one place at one time: the class to a ceremony held off campus, families from hotels to commencement, everyone on to dinner, and sometimes a senior trip before it all. Glyde runs coaches and mini coaches for schools, colleges and families across North Jersey, the five boroughs and Long Island — a clean executive vehicle with a professional driver, sized to the people actually riding. One vehicle for the family or several for a class. Rates run $200 to $300 per hour with a 5-hour minimum; the quote comes back within a day.
Common runs
When the ceremony is held at an arena, a college or a hall, coaches from the school to the venue and back, timed to the line-up call.
Parents, grandparents and relatives picked up at the hotel or the house and dropped at the ceremony together, so nobody circles for parking.
From the ceremony to the restaurant or the party, and back to the hotels at the end of the night.
A day trip for the senior class or a grad-night event, with the chaperones aboard and everyone on one schedule.
Who books
Two kinds of graduation booking. A school or a class adviser moving the seniors, where the headcount and the line-up time drive everything. And a family moving its own people around the ceremony, where the grandparents and the hotel matter most. Tell us which, and the vehicle is chosen for it.
A chaperone rides. On any vehicle carrying minors without their parents, one adult from your group rides along. The driver’s job is the road; the chaperone’s job is the group — headcount at each stop, and the call to the driver if a time moves.
One invoice. The quote is made out to the school, the class or the family and can be paid by check, Zelle or card, with the deposit holding the date.
Set to your schedule
The ceremony venue sets the schedule: a line-up call for the graduates, a start time for the families, and a crowded exit when it ends. Tell us the venue, the call time and where everyone goes after; the schedule is built from that.
Late May and June book first, weekdays included, so send the date once the school sets it. When the day runs past 10 hours, the quote moves to a full-day rate that covers the whole window. The quote you approve is the invoice you get.
8 to 55 seats
Count the people riding each leg, not the ceremony tickets. A family of twenty fits a mini bus; a class of fifty fills a full coach.
| Vehicle | Seats | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Sprinter Van | up to 13 passengers | from $200/hr |
| Mini Bus | 23–29 passengers | $200–300/hr by size |
| Mini Coach | 35–39 passengers | $200–300/hr by size |
| Full Coach | 55 passengers | up to $300/hr |
Rates are $200 to $300 per hour by vehicle size with a 5-hour minimum per vehicle, billed garage-to-garage: the drive to your first pickup, every leg, the wait between them, and the return. Every quote includes 10% gratuity and a 5% fuel charge up front; tolls are itemized at cost. Days that run past 10 hours switch to a full-day rate. Exact per-vehicle rates are on the Pricing Guide.

Four steps
The date, the school or the hotel, the ceremony venue, and how many people ride each leg. A rough schedule is enough to start.
One itemized number: base hours, 10% gratuity and 5% fuel already in, tolls listed at cost. No account, no deposit to see it.
Approve the quote and place the deposit; the vehicle and driver are reserved. The balance is due seven days before the trip.
You get the driver’s name and cell by email the evening before, with every pickup restated. The class adviser or the family organizer gets the same information.
