The fields we run

Every week of the season

Most of our fall and spring is school athletics: the 2:30 departure to Randall’s Island, the cross-country bus to Van Cortlandt, the track meet at Riverbank, the Saturday soccer bus to Red Hook. We know the fields, the loop roads and where a bus can wait.

01

Randall’s Island

Soccer, lacrosse, softball and flag football on the numbered fields, 10 through 85, plus track at Icahn Stadium. We know the field-number system and the loop road, so a field change the morning of is a text, not a problem.

02

Van Cortlandt, Riverbank & Astoria Park

Cross-country at Van Cortlandt Park, track at Riverbank State Park in the fall and Astoria Park in the spring: early spot times, gear on board, and a bus that stays until the last runner is in.

03

Brooklyn

Red Hook Park, Bush Terminal Park and the rooftop soccer fields in Sunset Park, plus the Brooklyn Bridge Park piers: the streets around them are wide and the lots are real, so the bus waits at the field and the team leaves the way it came.

04

Campus fields & North Jersey

Baker’s Field at Columbia, Queens College, Fort Washington Park, Alley Pond Park and the school fields of Riverdale, plus the county parks and high-school stadiums of Bergen, Hudson and Union counties. One bus, one price, tolls at cost.

How a game day runs

Dismissal to return
Spot timeBefore the bell

The bus is at the school before dismissal

Spot time is set ahead of the bell. The driver has the coach’s cell and the coach has the driver’s, exchanged the night before.

Morning ofChanges

Field numbers move, the bus moves with them

A field change or a time change goes to one number and reaches the driver in minutes. Cancellations for weather go the same way.

At the fieldThe wait

The bus stays at the field

Round trips are quoted with the wait built in, so the bus is where the team left it when the game ends. Nobody stands on a curb waiting for a second dispatch.

ReturnBefore late pickup

Back at school on time

Return timing is padded for the Deegan, the FDR and the Harlem River Drive at that hour, and the coach gets a heads-up when the bus is ten minutes out.

Season blocks are a specialty — a full fall or spring calendar is quoted as one plan and billed on one invoice, and high-volume school accounts are discounted 10%.

Three steps to a confirmed season

How it works
01

Send the schedule

The season calendar from your athletic director or coach: dates, dismissal times, fields, roster size. A photo of the schedule works.

02

One plan, one price

Every run priced to the schedule, on one quote a business office or booster club can approve.

03

Locked and run

The schedule you approve is the schedule we run. Changes go through one coordinator, not a call center.

Sized for the roster

8 to 55-plus

A JV squad and its gear rides a mini bus. Varsity with coaches and trainers rides a mini coach. Two teams to the same field share one full coach.

Two fields, one dismissal? Two buses leave the school together and each goes to its own field, coordinated as one plan.

Questions, answered

Athletics FAQ
Do you wait at the field, or drop off and come back?
Round trips are quoted with the wait built in. The bus stays at the field and the driver stays with it, so the team leaves the way it arrived, with no second dispatch and no waiting on a bus that went back to base.
What happens when the field number or the time changes the morning of?
It happens every week in the fall. Your coach or athletic director texts one number, the driver has the change in minutes, and the bus goes to the new field.
How are hours billed for a game?
A 5-hour minimum applies to single runs; a season schedule is quoted to the schedule, so a 2:30 departure and a 6:00 return is priced as that run. Tolls, including the NYC congestion toll where it applies, are itemized in the quote at cost. The full billing breakdown is on the pricing page.
Can you cover a whole season?
Yes, and it is the work we like best: one plan, one contact, consistent drivers where possible, and one invoice for the block. Send the calendar and we price the season.
Can you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes, on request, naming your school or organization as additional insured where required.
Which fields and parks do you know?
Randall’s Island, Van Cortlandt Park, Riverbank State Park, Icahn Stadium, Astoria Park, Red Hook Park, Bush Terminal Park and the rooftop soccer fields in Sunset Park, Baker’s Field, Queens College, Fort Washington Park, Alley Pond Park, and the county parks and high-school stadiums across North Jersey. If your league plays somewhere else, tell us and we scout it before the first run.
