Field day buses for the whole company

The office to Randall’s Island at nine, the coach at the field all day, everyone back together at four. One bus and one number for the team, from a 14-seat Sprinter to a 55-seat coach.

Where the field days go

Company field days
01

Randall’s Island

Fields 10 through 85 and the Icahn Stadium complex. We drop at the field entrance the organizer names, not the lot across the island, and the coach stays for the day.

02

Central Park and Prospect Park

The Great Lawn, the North Meadow and the Long Meadow in Brooklyn: curbside drops where a coach is allowed, with a driver who knows which entrance is which.

03

Flushing Meadows and the Queens fields

Corona Park, Astoria Park and the Queens ballfields from a Manhattan or Long Island City office, out the LIE and back before rush hour.

04

The New Jersey fields

Liberty State Park, Overpeck and the county parks across the river: one coach from Manhattan or Jersey City, tolls at cost, no surprises.

05

Tournaments and sports days

Corporate kickball, softball and volleyball leagues: two or three office pickups timed to one departure, and one bus home.

How a field day runs

The plan
01

The coach waits at the field

Round trips are quoted with the wait built in. The coach sits at the field while the team plays, so the ride home starts when the last game ends, not when a second bus turns up.

02

Coolers, tents and the trophies

Luggage bays take the coolers, the tent, the banners and the leftover pizza. Nobody carries a folding table on the subway.

03

Two pickups, one departure

The office plus a second stop at a hotel or a train station, timed so the whole company leaves together and arrives together.

04

One contact, one number

One coordinator sets the plan, the driver has the event contact’s cell the morning of, and any change goes to one number and reaches the driver in minutes.

How booking works

Three steps
Step 01

Send the date, the headcount and the office

A rough headcount is fine to start. If the organizer has a bus map, send that too.

Step 02

One all-in number the same day

Gratuity and fuel are in the number. Tolls, including the NYC congestion toll where it applies, are itemized at cost.

Step 03

Approve, and it is on the calendar

Invoiced to the company, receipts your back office can file, driver info the day before.

Right-sized for your group

8 to 55-plus

A 40-person team rides one mini coach with room for the gear. A 100-person company rides two coaches that leave the office together.

Questions, answered

Company Field Days FAQ
Does the bus wait at Randall’s Island during the field day?
Yes. Round trips are quoted with the wait built in, and the coach stays where the organizer puts buses until the team is ready to go home.
Can we pick up at more than one place?
Yes. Two or three pickups on the way out are normal: the office, a hotel for out-of-town staff, a train station. We time them to one departure.
What about the coolers, the tent and the gear?
They ride in the luggage bays. Tell us roughly what is coming and we size the vehicle for the people and the gear.
How early should we book a June or September date?
Four to six weeks out is comfortable; the big field-day Fridays in June fill earlier. Closer dates can often still be covered, ask before assuming.
Can this be invoiced to the company?
Yes. The quote is one all-in number with gratuity and fuel in it and tolls itemized at cost; a 25 percent deposit holds the date and the balance is invoiced seven days out, by card, ACH or check. NET terms and POs are available for established accounts.
Can you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes. We provide COIs on request and can name your company as additional insured where your contract or the event requires it.

Price the field day

Date, headcount and the office address are enough to price the day. Send the organizer’s bus instructions if you have them.
