Ceremonies start at six or later, every celebration ends at midnight, on-site parking is limited and the venue requires valet for larger events.
Yonkers is the close block, the Hyatt Place, the Courtyard and the Residence Inn about 15 minutes. The Upper West Side (the Arthouse, the Lucerne, the Beacon, the Wallace) is about 25 down the Henry Hudson, and Tarrytown (the Westchester Marriott, Tarrytown House Estate, the Courtyard) about 25.
The venue publishes its bus rule and we run it: buses do not enter the grounds, and passengers step off outside the Front Gate on Independence Avenue. The coach comes up the Henry Hudson Parkway and, because of the Manhattan College Parkway underpass, routes around by Broadway, drops at the gate, and waits at the Riverdale Park lot the venue uses for overflow until your coordinator calls. Your coordinator has the driver’s cell the morning of.
A 180-guest wedding is one 55-seat coach on two runs from Yonkers or Manhattan, or two mini coaches on a stagger. First pickups are timed so guests are at the Pergola 20 minutes before the ceremony, and the midnight end sets the last coach, which is at the gate before it.
