A ski day goes best when the whole group rides together: one early pickup, the gear on board, and the same bus waiting at the end of the day. Glyde arranges mini coaches and full coaches for ski clubs, church and youth groups, scout troops and office outings from North Jersey, Staten Island and the city to two big mountains: Mountain Creek in Vernon, NJ, and Camelback in the Poconos. Each mountain books group tickets, rentals and lessons itself; we handle the bus.
Four moves
Mountain Creek is about an hour and a half from Midtown or North Jersey on a Saturday morning and Camelback about an hour and three quarters, so the bus leaves early enough to be at the base before the first lift or lesson.
Mountain Creek’s group rates start at 15 people and Camelback’s day groups at 20, booked with the mountain ahead of time. We set the bus around your ticket and lesson times.
The driver drops the group where the mountain directs buses and waits through the day. We confirm the drop-off and bus parking with the mountain before the date.
The bus leaves when the group’s day is done, with the gear loaded and everyone counted, and the group rides home together.
Who rides
Most ski buses carry ski clubs, church and youth groups, scout troops and office teams taking a winter day out. The plan is built for them: one pickup, a headcount at each stop, and a driver who waits.
One contact, one number. The trip leader gets one quote and one contact, and the driver’s name and cell come the night before.
Club seasons too. A ski club that runs several trips a season gets the same plan and one contact every date.
Set to your schedule
Most ski days leave in the early morning and head home in the late afternoon, and the day is quoted as one block of time, travel included. Camelback asks lesson groups to arrive at least 45 minutes before the lesson, so the departure is set to the first lesson.
From Staten Island, add about 20 minutes each way. If winter weather turns, the trip leader and Glyde settle the departure time the day before. Tolls are itemized at cost. The quote you approve is the invoice you get.
Up to 55 seats
Count the people and the gear. Skis and boards take room, so the bus is sized for the gear too: a club of 25 with its gear rides in a mini coach, and a full coach carries it in the bays underneath.
| Vehicle | Seats | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Sprinter Van | up to 13 passengers | from $200/hr |
| Mini Bus | 23–29 passengers | $200–300/hr by size |
| Mini Coach | 35–39 passengers | $200–300/hr by size |
| Full Coach | 55 passengers | up to $300/hr |
Rates are $200 to $300 per hour by vehicle size with a 5-hour minimum per vehicle, billed garage-to-garage: the drive to your first pickup, every leg, the wait between them, and the return. Every quote includes 10% gratuity and a 5% fuel charge up front; tolls are itemized at cost. Days that run past 10 hours switch to a full-day rate. Exact per-vehicle rates are on the Pricing Guide.

Four steps
The date, the mountain, where the group leaves from, how many people ride, and your ticket or lesson times if you have them.
One itemized number: base hours, 10% gratuity and 5% fuel already in, tolls listed at cost. No account, no deposit to see it.
Approve the quote and place the deposit; the vehicle and driver are reserved. The balance is due seven days before the trip.
You get the driver’s name and cell by email the evening before, with every pickup restated. The trip leader gets the same information.
