The Chateau Grande on the grounds takes the main block and needs no shuttle. Overflow lands at the Turnpike exit 9 hotels (the Hilton East Brunswick, the Holiday Inn Express, the Residence Inn), about 15 minutes, in downtown New Brunswick (the Hyatt Regency, the Heldrich), about 20, or on Route 1 in North Brunswick and at exit 8A in Cranbury, about 15. A Manhattan hotel is about 60.
From the north the coach runs the Turnpike to exit 9, Route 18 south and Cranbury Road, up the estate driveway to the front entrance where the valet staff receive guests. The staging spot during the reception is confirmed with the venue coordinator ahead of the date. Your coordinator has the driver’s cell the morning of.
With the hotel on the grounds, the shuttle is usually the Manhattan run or a loop from the exit 9 hotels: one 55-seat coach on two runs, or two on a stagger for a full house. First pickups are timed so guests are at the chapel 20 minutes before the ceremony, and the last coach waits through the send-off.
