Gowanus has its own small block (the Industrialist, Tru by Hilton, Hotel Le Bleu), about 5 minutes. Downtown Brooklyn (the NU Hotel, the Ace, the Sheraton, the Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge) is about 10, and Williamsburg (the Wythe, the William Vale, the Hoxton) about 20. A Manhattan hotel is about 30.
Union Street is a narrow one-way industrial block by the canal with a drawbridge at the end of it, so the coach approaches from the 3rd and 4th Avenue side, does a live drop at the door, and waits on Nevins Street or 3rd Avenue until your coordinator calls. We confirm the direction of Union Street and any construction the week before. Your coordinator has the driver’s cell the morning of.
