Hotel blocks in Downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan to the Boathouse — and the last ride home after the reception. Tell us the date; we handle the moving parts.
Get your wedding quote →The Prospect Park Boathouse is a 1905 Beaux Arts landmark on the Lullwater in Prospect Park, run by the Prospect Park Alliance with Purslane as the exclusive caterer: up to 150 guests seated with dancing or 225 standing, with the terrace and lawn for the ceremony and cocktails. The Alliance publishes no parking or vehicle access for events, and the building sits inside the park.
Most couples set up blocks in Downtown Brooklyn and DUMBO: the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, the Hilton Brooklyn, the Sheraton and the Ace Hotel, 15 to 20 minutes away. Park Slope guests are a short ride; Manhattan blocks come over the Manhattan Bridge in 25 to 40 minutes.
The Boathouse sits inside Prospect Park, and unlike most of the park the coach can go in: we come in from the Lincoln Road side at Ocean Avenue, drop guests at the Boathouse itself, and stage in the park’s lot until your coordinator is ready to go, with the Alliance’s own vehicle instructions governing the day. Your coordinator has the driver’s cell the morning of.
A 150-guest Boathouse wedding is one 55-seat coach on two runs, or a 39-seat mini coach and a Sprinter when the list is in two hotels. Pickups are timed so guests are at the Boathouse 15 minutes before the ceremony. The last coach leaves at your contracted end from the Boathouse door.
Everyone leaves the hotel together and reaches the venue at the same time. No wrong address in the GPS, no cousin from Ohio missing the ceremony.
Guests are dropped at the door, not in a field three blocks away.
Climate-controlled and door-to-door, so hair, makeup, gowns, and suits arrive exactly how they left.
Guests celebrate, then ride back to the hotel safely. We run the end-of-night route, not just the arrival.
One wave or staggered by group, however you’ve planned the timing with your coordinator and venue.
A van for the bridal party, a full coach for the whole guest list, or several moving in sync.
Your wedding date, guest count, and best contact. Thirty seconds in the quote box, or one call.
A complete price for the day — usually back to you the same day, not days later.
A 25% deposit holds your date and your bus, any time in your planning window.
You speak with a charter professional by phone or email who plans the day around your venues, hotels, and timing.
Glyde calls to confirm pickups, stops, timing windows, and your final guest count.
A day-of contact runs the manifest, holds the pickup schedule, and runs the hotel route at the end of the night.
Routes, pickup windows, and timing built around your venues and hotels — not a template.
And a clean, inspected bus, staged at the pickup point before the first guest walks out.
Gratuity, fuel, and tolls are in the number. The quote you approve is the bill you get.
Multiple vehicles run under a single itinerary and a single quote when the guest list calls for it.
Not sure what size you need? Tell us your guest count and the venue, and we’ll put your guests in the right vehicle. Larger weddings often run on more than one bus to keep arrivals tight.
Bigger guest list? We’ll bundle multiple vehicles into one coordinated plan and one quote.
“We booked this company for all-day bridal party transportation, ending the night at Nicotra’s Ballroom in Staten Island, and it was one of the best decisions we made.”
“We booked this company for a wedding shuttle from Arlo Williamsburg to Weylin, and they nailed it. The pickup process was super organized, which made things easy for guests who weren’t familiar with the area.”
A date and an approximate guest count are enough to price the whole day.
