Hotel blocks on the West Shore, Woodbridge and Bay Ridge to Grand Plaza, and the last ride home after the reception. Tell us the date, we handle the moving parts.
Get your wedding quote →Grand Plaza is the banquet hall at 23A Nelson Avenue in Great Kills, set back behind the storefronts on Nelson Avenue near Amboy Road. The Grand Ballroom holds up to 200 guests and the Executive Suite up to 100, and couples can marry indoors in the Executive Suite before moving to the ballroom. Every package includes a bridal suite and valet parking.
There are no guest rooms at the hall. The venue’s own vendor list points guests to the Fairfield Inn and Suites on Wild Avenue, with the Hilton Garden Inn and the Hampton Inn and Suites beside it on the West Shore, about 30 minutes away. Woodbridge, New Jersey, over the Outerbridge, is about 25 minutes, Bay Ridge in Brooklyn about 40, and the Newark airport hotels in Elizabeth about 45.
The hall sits behind a row of shops on a busy stretch of Nelson Avenue, steps from the Great Kills railway station, and valet works the lot on event nights, so we confirm with the banquet office the week before where the coach turns in, where guests step off and where it waits, rather than holding it on the avenue.
A full ballroom of 200 is two 55-seat coaches running two loops each from the West Shore hotels, about 30 minutes each way, and a party of 100 in the Executive Suite is two coaches together. With the ceremony on site, first pickups land everyone 20 minutes before it starts, and the last coach waits through the send-off and runs the hotels at the end of the night.
Everyone leaves the hotel together and reaches the venue at the same time. No wrong address in the GPS, no cousin from Ohio missing the ceremony.
Guests are dropped at the door, not in a field three blocks away.
Climate-controlled and door-to-door, so hair, makeup, gowns, and suits arrive exactly how they left.
Guests celebrate, then ride back to the hotel safely. We run the end-of-night route, not just the arrival.
One wave or staggered by group, however you’ve planned the timing with your coordinator and venue.
A van for the bridal party, a full coach for the whole guest list, or several moving in sync.

Glyde calls to confirm pickups, stops, timing windows, and your final guest count.
A day-of contact runs the manifest, holds the pickup schedule, and runs the hotel route at the end of the night.
Routes, pickup windows, and timing built around your venues and hotels — not a template.
And a clean, inspected bus, staged at the pickup point before the first guest walks out.
Gratuity, fuel, and tolls are in the number. The quote you approve is the bill you get.
Multiple vehicles run under a single itinerary and a single quote when the guest list calls for it.
Not sure what size you need? Tell us your guest count and the venue, and we’ll put your guests in the right vehicle. Larger weddings often run on more than one bus to keep arrivals tight.
Bigger guest list? We’ll bundle multiple vehicles into one coordinated plan and one quote.
“We booked this company for all-day bridal party transportation, ending the night at Nicotra’s Ballroom in Staten Island, and it was one of the best decisions we made.”
“We booked this company for a wedding shuttle from Arlo Williamsburg to Weylin, and they nailed it. The pickup process was super organized, which made things easy for guests who weren’t familiar with the area.”
A date and an approximate guest count are enough to price the whole day.
