The venue publishes on-site parking, a free hotel shuttle to the ferry and Newark airport, and a wedding listing of 75 to 300 guests.
Most guests stay in the Hilton Garden Inn on the grounds at group rates, so the coach work is the guests coming from off the island: a Brooklyn block over the Verrazzano in 20 to 30 minutes, a Manhattan block in 40 to 60, or New Jersey over the Goethals in 15. Overflow blocks go to the Hampton Inn & Suites and the Fairfield Inn & Suites on the West Shore, ten minutes away.
We have run Nicotra’s. The venue is a minute off the Staten Island Expressway at South Avenue, on a hotel campus with plenty of parking and staging, so the coach drops and picks up at the front entrance and waits on the grounds between runs. The Verrazzano is tolled in both directions and the Goethals coming onto the island, and both are on the quote at cost. Your coordinator has the driver’s cell the morning of.
Most Nicotra’s weddings run one 55-seat coach on a Brooklyn or Manhattan round trip, arriving 20 minutes before the garden ceremony and leaving at your contracted end; a 300-guest list with two off-island blocks gets two coaches. Guests in the hotel walk over, so the return run is smaller than the arrival.
