Hotel blocks in Long Island City and Midtown East Manhattan to Sound River Studios, and the last ride home after the reception. Tell us the date, we handle the moving parts.
Get your wedding quote →Sound River Studios is a street-level waterfront studio at 4–40 44th Drive in Long Island City, a block from Gantry Plaza State Park. The venue publishes 350 seated and 450 standing, with a ceremony, cocktails and reception on site for about 250 to 275 guests. Street parking is on 44th Drive and Vernon Boulevard, a city lot sits across the street, and valet can be hired.
Long Island City hotels are a few minutes away: the Ravel Hotel, the Boro Hotel, the Hyatt Place LIC. Midtown East is 15 minutes over the Queensboro Bridge, the Hyatt Grand Central and the Pod 51 among the blocks. Most couples run the shuttle from a Manhattan block and back at the end of the night.
The venue asks that vendor and guest arrivals be scheduled to avoid congestion on 44th Drive, so we confirm the drop point and the wait spot with your planner the week before and drop at the venue’s street-level door. The coach waits on Vernon Boulevard or a nearby block, not in front of the entrance. Our driver takes the Queensboro Bridge, never the Grand Central Parkway or the BQE ramps that are closed to coaches.
A 300-guest wedding is two 55-seat coaches on a stagger from Midtown, or one coach on three runs; a mini coach covers a smaller group or a hotel loop. First pickups are timed so guests are inside 20 minutes before the ceremony, and the last coach waits through the send-off.
Everyone leaves the hotel together and reaches the venue at the same time. No wrong address in the GPS, no cousin from Ohio missing the ceremony.
Guests are dropped at the door, not in a field three blocks away.
Climate-controlled and door-to-door, so hair, makeup, gowns, and suits arrive exactly how they left.
Guests celebrate, then ride back to the hotel safely. We run the end-of-night route, not just the arrival.
One wave or staggered by group, however you’ve planned the timing with your coordinator and venue.
A van for the bridal party, a full coach for the whole guest list, or several moving in sync.
Your wedding date, guest count, and best contact. Thirty seconds in the quote box, or one call.
A complete price for the day — usually back to you the same day, not days later.
A 25% deposit holds your date and your bus, any time in your planning window.
You speak with a charter professional by phone or email who plans the day around your venues, hotels, and timing.
Glyde calls to confirm pickups, stops, timing windows, and your final guest count.
A day-of contact runs the manifest, holds the pickup schedule, and runs the hotel route at the end of the night.
Routes, pickup windows, and timing built around your venues and hotels — not a template.
And a clean, inspected bus, staged at the pickup point before the first guest walks out.
Gratuity, fuel, and tolls are in the number. The quote you approve is the bill you get.
Multiple vehicles run under a single itinerary and a single quote when the guest list calls for it.
Not sure what size you need? Tell us your guest count and the venue, and we’ll put your guests in the right vehicle. Larger weddings often run on more than one bus to keep arrivals tight.
Bigger guest list? We’ll bundle multiple vehicles into one coordinated plan and one quote.
“We booked this company for all-day bridal party transportation, ending the night at Nicotra’s Ballroom in Staten Island, and it was one of the best decisions we made.”
“We booked this company for a wedding shuttle from Arlo Williamsburg to Weylin, and they nailed it. The pickup process was super organized, which made things easy for guests who weren’t familiar with the area.”
A date and an approximate guest count are enough to price the whole day.
