Get your wedding quote →Terrace on the Park is the 1964 World’s Fair tower at 52-11 111th Street in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, with ballrooms for 50 to 900 guests, a private Chapel for up to 300, a rooftop wedding pergola and three garden settings for ceremonies. The venue publishes ample parking, and the lot around the building takes coaches for the evening.
Most couples set up blocks by LaGuardia, at the LaGuardia Airport Marriott, the Hampton Inn LaGuardia and the Aloft LaGuardia, about 10 minutes on the Grand Central Parkway, or in downtown Flushing at the Sheraton LaGuardia East, the Hyatt Place Flushing and the Hotel Indigo, 10 to 15 minutes. Manhattan blocks run 30 to 45 minutes on the LIE or the Grand Central.
We have run Terrace on the Park. The coach comes off the Grand Central Parkway or the LIE onto 111th Street, drops and picks up at the front entrance, and parks in the lot steps away, so return runs start from the door the moment your coordinator calls. On a Mets home night or during the US Open the parkway and 111th Street are slow, and the timeline carries it. Your coordinator has the driver’s cell the morning of.
A 900-guest ballroom is a four- or five-coach job on a stagger; most Terrace weddings run two or three 55-seat coaches, or one coach on a LaGuardia loop ten minutes each way. Chapel ceremonies set the first arrival 20 minutes ahead. The last coach leaves at your contracted end.
