Planning a shuttle in New Jersey

How we run it
✕

From New York

A Midtown hotel to the Hudson waterfront venues is 30 to 40 minutes, to Morristown and the Somerset Hills about an hour, and to the Shore 75 to 90. A city guest list rides one 55-seat coach per 50 guests as a full-day booking, up before the ceremony and home after the last dance, quoted as one number.

✕

Where guests stay

Most couples block in Downtown Jersey City and Hoboken for the waterfront, Secaucus and Route 17 for the Meadowlands and Bergen County, Fairfield, Wayne and West Orange for Passaic and Essex, Morristown, Florham Park and Parsippany for Morris County, Bridgewater and Basking Ridge for the Somerset Hills, Edison and Woodbridge for Middlesex, and Red Bank, Long Branch and Spring Lake at the Shore. We build the route backward from the ceremony so every block loads in time.

✕

Venues with rooms

The Madison Hotel, the Olde Mill Inn, Pleasantdale Chateau, Pendry Natirar and the Molly Pitcher Inn keep part of the guest list on the property, so the coach works the overflow hotels and the end-of-night run, not the whole list.

✕

Timing and vehicles

First pickups land guests 20 minutes before the ceremony. A 250-guest room is five 55-seat coaches together or three coaches with a second run; a Sprinter or mini bus covers a train-station loop. The last coach leaves at your contracted end, waits through the send-off, then runs the hotel drops.

The day, handled

What your guests get
01

Out-of-town guests can’t get lost

Everyone leaves the hotel together and reaches the venue at the same time. No wrong address in the GPS, no cousin from Ohio missing the ceremony.

02

Grandparents don’t cross a lot in heels

Guests are dropped at the door, not in a field three blocks away.

03

Rain doesn’t ruin the look

Climate-controlled and door-to-door, so hair, makeup, gowns, and suits arrive exactly how they left.

04

The open bar isn’t a liability

Guests celebrate, then ride back to the hotel safely. We run the end-of-night route, not just the arrival.

05

Arrivals on your schedule

One wave or staggered by group, however you’ve planned the timing with your coordinator and venue.

06

One shuttle or a fleet

A van for the bridal party, a full coach for the whole guest list, or several moving in sync.

“We booked this company for all-day bridal party transportation, ending the night at Nicotra’s Ballroom in Staten Island, and it was one of the best decisions we made.”

“We booked this company for a wedding shuttle from Arlo Williamsburg to Weylin, and they nailed it. The pickup process was super organized, which made things easy for guests who weren’t familiar with the area.”

Questions, answered

New Jersey FAQ
Do you have a minimum number of hours?
Yes — a 5-hour minimum applies. Your quote reserves a dedicated bus and driver for your date — no shared rides, no surprises. The full billing breakdown is on the pricing page.
Which New Jersey venues do you serve?
Venues across North and Central Jersey, from the Hudson waterfront in Jersey City and North Bergen through Bergen, Passaic, Essex and Morris counties to the Somerset Hills, Union and Middlesex counties and the Monmouth Shore. The guides above cover the ones we know best; if yours is not listed, send the date and the address.
How long is the ride from Manhattan?
About 30 to 40 minutes to the Hudson waterfront, 40 to 50 to the Meadowlands and Bergen County, about an hour to Morristown and the Somerset Hills, and 75 to 90 minutes to the Shore, outside of rush hour. A city guest list is a full-day coach booking, up before the ceremony and home after the reception.
Which hotels do guests usually stay at?
Downtown Jersey City and Hoboken for the waterfront venues, Secaucus and the Route 17 hotels for the Meadowlands and Bergen County, Fairfield, Wayne and West Orange for Passaic and Essex, Morristown, Florham Park and Parsippany for Morris County, Bridgewater and Basking Ridge for the Somerset Hills, Edison and Woodbridge for Middlesex, and Red Bank, Long Branch and Spring Lake at the Shore. The Madison Hotel, the Olde Mill Inn, Pleasantdale Chateau, Pendry Natirar and the Molly Pitcher Inn keep part of the block on the property.
Can guests take NJ Transit instead?
For several venues, yes. The Madison Hotel sits beside Convent Station on the Morristown Line, The Westwood is a short walk from the Garwood station on the Raritan Valley Line, Red Bank is on the North Jersey Coast Line, and the Light Rail stops at Liberty State Park. A Sprinter or mini bus on a station loop covers the train guests while the coach runs the hotel blocks and the late return.
When should we book a wedding shuttle?
Four to eight months out is typical for peak Saturday dates, around the time your hotel-block counts firm up. Closer dates can often still be covered — ask before assuming.
